When it comes to Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, the whole family often takes the time to gather and spend the special day to celebrate Mom and Dad. Some families have luncheons and give gifts to show their appreciation for Mom, and some hold barbecue parties and go on fishing trips to spend time with Dad. To show their love and support to their grandparents and the elderly community, individuals in Miami will be participating in a bike-a-thon designed to raise awareness for senior citizens. Karen Schwartz, through Chabad.org, shares that this activity aims to bring different generations together as 60 to 100 bikers are expected to take part in the event.
